Tal Zlotnitsky is a seasoned entrepreneur, leader, consultant, podcast host and speaker. Beginning his journey as an entrepreneur at 19, he now holds roles as Managing Partner & CEO of IgniteIT Consulting, and as a member of the corporate board of the Muma College of Business at the University of South Florida. Tal is also developing a new AI venture, Breez AI, and is the host of the podcast Braving Business, which ranks in the top 0.5% in global popularity out of 3.3 million podcasts tracked by Listen Notes.
Tal co-founded iControl Data, backed by Goldman Sachs since 2015, and was CEO until 2021 and a member of the board until January 2024. He also co-founded mobile parking pioneer iControl Mobile Payments, later acquired by RingGo and now operating as ParkMobile. He was the CEO of TSP payment company Syncronex and spearheaded print and digital media companies Current News and NewsOne, sold in 2009 and 2008. He was an early backer and remains an investor in MAGI Foods and JetComfy, was a investor and board member in eConvenience store Ugo.
Born a low-income, undocumented immigrant, Tal's activism is personal. He supported Barack Obama's historic campaign, was selected as a member of President Obama's Presidential Partners in 2009 and spoke at the White House on behalf of the president in 2012. As a father to a gay, gender-non-conforming Navy petty officer, Tal champions military families and LGBTQ rights. He advised on tax, immigration, and small business policies for Pete Buttigieg's presidential campaign.
Tal, who now resides in Tampa, Florida, was once a semi-pro baseball player. He enjoys soccer and is a devoted father and grandfather. He's motivated by continuous self-improvement in both his personal and professional life.
